I am not one of those people who grew up around gardening and had a love for it since my childhood. In fact, growing up you would be shocked to hear I hated cooking, strongly disliked tomatoes, onions, cauliflower and avocados and didn’t give a thought about where my food came from.
Fast forward to marriage and two babies later, my husband and I bought our first house and we decided we wanted to grow a garden. By this time, I finally learned to love cooking and my husband can claim fame to helping me fall in love with tomatoes and avocados.
Since that first garden 18 years ago, I haven’t stopped growing and learning!
