Then, you’ll need some potting soil, coffee filters or burlap, and her favorite herbs (basil, oregano, rosemary—you name it). Use a drill to add drainage holes at the bottom of the container, if needed, cover the holes with the filters or cloth (to prevent messes), and then plant it up.
