I don’t know about you, but breakfast is a must-have for me upon waking up in the morning, and I usually prefer sweet over savory breakfasts. Smoothies and smoothie bowls are my go-to breakfasts, especially when it gets hot here in Texas.

This smoothie bowl recipe is easy to make and requires less than 5 minutes to make!

The beauty of this recipe is its versatility! Here are some ways to make it your own:

  • Granola Galore: Don’t have Love Crunch Dark Chocolate and Red Berries granola? No problem! Use any type of granola you have on hand, or even try a homemade recipe. But really, the Love Crunch line is one of my favorites! You can’t go wrong with any of their varieties.

  • Milk Matters: Not a fan of almond milk? Feel free to use any milk you prefer, like oat milk, soy milk, or even cow’s milk.

  • Berrylicious Options: Love strawberries more than blueberries? Swap them out entirely or use a mix of both berries!

  • Go for the Gold (Chocolate, That Is!): Want to make this bowl even chocolatier? Blend in a tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder with the other ingredients for an intense chocolate experience. Or drizzle your bowl with melted chocolate or a tablespoon of chocolate syrup for an extra decadent touch.

Tips

  • Want an extra protein boost? Add a dollop of Greek yogurt to the smoothie mixture before blending.

  • Don’t have frozen fruit? Fresh fruit will work in a pinch, but it may result in a thinner smoothie base. Add extra ice and lower the milk to a 1/2 cup to make it thicker.

  • Want a really thick smoothie bowl? Reduce the milk and add more ice.
