WHEN TO GROW KALE

Kale thrives when the temperatures are between 50°F and 75°F.

Spring and fall are the best times for growing kale.

WHERE TO PLANT KALE  SEEDS

Kale does best with 4+ hours of sunlight. Plant in raised garden beds, large containers that are at least 12" deep or in the ground.

HOW TO GROW KALE FROM SEED IN 3 EASY STEPS

STEP 1 -PREPARE GROWING AREA

Prepare your kale growing area for planting. Add a 2- to 3-inch layer of compost to the top of the planting area.

STEP 2 - PLANT KALE SEEDS

Plant kale seeds ¼” deep. Place seeds about 9 to 12 inches apart.

STEP 3 - WATER KALE SEEDS GENTLY

Water the planting area gently. Maintain consistent moisture until your kale seeds germinate. Sprouts in 5 to 10 days.
