HOW TO GROW BLUEBERRIES  in containers

LETTUCE GROW SOMETHING

Blueberries are easy to grow in containers, and they don’t require a lot of maintenance.

CHOOSE BLUEBERRY PLANTS THAT GROW WELL IN YOUR GROWING ZONE

Shop at local nurseries or online retailers like Stark Bros.

FIND A SUNNY LOCATION

Pick a spot with full sun - at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight per day.

CHOOSE A LARGE CONTAINER

Containers that are at least 18 inches deep and 18 inches wide are best.

FILL CONTAINER WITH ACIDIC SOIL MIXTURE

My soil recipe for growing blueberries is 40% compost, 40% peat moss, and 20% coarse sand.  Or purchase acidic potting mix.

PLANT BLUEBERRY PLANTS IN THE SPRING OR FALL

The best time to add new plants to your garden is in the early spring or late fall.

I’ve spent the last decade teaching my followers how to grow their own food. Growing veggies and fruits doesn't always mean you need a ton of space. Learn more about growing BLUEBERRIES by tapping the link below.
