Tips for planting this month:
-
Add a good layer of compost before planting.
-
Keep soil moist for proper seed germination.
-
Water new plants in well, and if your soil is extra dry, water the whole garden before planting.
-
Watch them grow each day!
Also, many of your warm season plants need pollination to be productive, so make sure you add some flowers to your kitchen garden to attract beneficial insects like bees and butterflies.
